Financial Hardship Payment Assistance

If you’re a former or present customer experiencing financial hardship and you owe us money, you may be eligible for Payment Assistance if you believe that changing your payment arrangements will enable you to pay the money owed.

Financial Hardship can be caused by:

  • Personal or household illness
  • Unemployment
  • Low or insufficient income
  • Being a victim or survivor of domestic or family violence
  • A death in the family
  • A change in personal or family circumstances
  • A natural disaster
  • Unexpected events or unforeseen changes that have impacted your income or expenditure
  • Other reasonable causes

If you’re eligible and approved for payment assistance, we may offer

  • Free manual payment method
  • Deferred payments
  • Discounted recharge payments
  • Payment plans tailored to meet your ability to pay
  • Transfer to a plan that better suits your circumstances
  • Debt waiver
